RY Candlelight Vinyasa Flow

This class is taught by:

Alena Snedeker

Alena has 7 years of teaching experience and teaches Vinyasa, Sculpt, and Yin. Alena fell in love with yoga and has been practicing for 13 years. She has accomplished 4 teacher trainings, including Anti-Gravity Yoga.
Her passion is expressing herself in a physical medium and yoga not only caught her eye because of the physical benefits, but also spiritual, having that sense of mental clarity at the end of class.

Alena is very experienced in teaching Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Sculpt, Hatha, and Yin. Her upbeat attitude and expressive smile will ensure a class filled with love, laughs, and an overall well-balanced mind body and spirit.

Alyssa Moeller

Alyssa stepped onto her mat in 2010 as a way to relieve anxiety, and quickly discovered that not only were her stress levels improving, but also her happiness, contentment, body and sense of self-worth. She loves to incorporate dynamic sequencing, a killer playlist, and focus on honoring what the body and soul need on any given day. Alyssa obtained her 200-hour certification in 2014 and is certified in Reiki. Her experience includes teaching corporate, studio and private yoga classes, leading workshops, and leading 200-hour yoga teacher trainings

Michelle Zurlo

Michelle began her yoga journey a few years ago in Northern Virginia when she received a gift certificate to her local studio to help incorporate into marathon training season. Being new to yoga, the first few classes were physically and mentally challenging but they left Michelle feeling intrigued. She used her studio and the amazing community as a mental and physical release towards life’s stressors. The breath/movement connection of the Vinyasa flow quickly became the anchor to living more mindfully. Learning to actually feel the moment, what is has to offer, and to breathe through it, helped Michelle apply on the mat principles into her daily life. Being hungry for more knowledge and more yoga, Michelle decided to go through Teacher Training. Michelle strives to make her students feel challenged yet strong, energized yet calm. She truly believes yoga (and life) is all about the balance between effort and ease. She incorporates the classical 8 limbs of Vinyasa into her classes to help build heat inside and out and mentally keep the class present.

Kristi Sobol

Born and raised in Southern California, Kristi has always been a water sports enthusiast, spending her time surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Kristi originally became interested in yoga as a way to supplement these activities through increased flexibility, stronger core muscles, better breathing, and improved balance. Kristi fell in love with yoga because it allowed her body, mind, and spirit to tap into a natural flow and rhythm, much like the patterns of the ocean. Kristi enrolled in teacher training to deepen her yoga practice, but quickly found her voice as a teacher. Kristi hopes to teach her students the transformative qualities of yoga and how every lesson learned on the mat is applicable to daily life.

Erica Butterfield

Erica found yoga at the perfect time. Overwhelmed by a packed schedule, she was looking for something to bring a little more balance to her life. Yoga was the perfect answer! She found that she was less anxious and felt more capable at handling the stresses of everyday life. Erica completed her 200-hour training in San Diego and immediately wanted the opportunities to share her love with yoga. She firmly believes that there is a yoga style/teacher out there for everyone. Her classes will make even the most apprehensive yogi feel welcome as they are accessible to all levels. Her warm energy and excitement for sharing her passion shows through her mindful and fun flows. Erica loves vinyasa yoga because it is easy to focus on the breath to movement meditation that often occurs in class. Erica is also trained in trauma based yoga and restorative.
Rejuvenation is the focus of 60 minute flow that will leave you inspired. All levels welcome. Enjoy the the true meaning of Vinyasa; tap into the breath/movement and find a new level of motivation under the relaxation of candlelight.
