RY Sculpt

This class is taught by:

Jenni Cook

Jenni was first introduced to Yoga in 2011. With a background in competitive dance, Jenni was drawn to yoga for it's healing aspects, physical and mental but soon fell in love with its community as well! Yoga took her by surprise, Jenni began to grow and break down barriers in her life transforming it in ways that she could have never imagined, growing stronger inside and out. It was from this personal place of growth that Jenni decided that she wanted to become a yoga instructor! In 2013 Jenni completed her 200hr Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training followed by a 2014 Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training. To Jenni there is no greater gift then to share the gift of yoga with others. She aspires to guide yogis through their very own beautiful transformation, leading them into a place of strength, self acceptance, and overall happiness

Hailey Young

Hailey entered her first yoga class during college in hopes of discovering some sort of stress relief from her heavy class load. She was immediately hooked to everything yoga had to offer, and began to take classes regularly from that point on. With a background in Kinesiology, she became a yoga teacher in hopes of building a better knowledge of the anatomy of yoga and what it had to offer physically. After getting deeper into the spiritual and mental aspect, such as breath work and meditation, she knew right away that she wanted to share her experience with others. Hailey immediately developed a strong passion for teaching and watching her students grow, as well sharing her appreciation for yoga with others.

Katey Connell

Katey’s yoga journey began after college when she was looking for a healthy outlet to get through the stressors of life. One sculpt class later and she was hooked! Yoga Sculpt has unlocked her power not only in her physical life but in her personal life as well, giving her the self-confidence to walk through life’s ups and downs. It has always been her passion to motivate and encourage others, and when she found yoga sculpt, she found exactly what she was looking for. Not only does she love the natural endorphins gained from pushing ourselves past our physical limits, but the new sense of happiness, peace, and spiritual strength she feels after every class. Yoga has helped heal physical injuries she has and is her therapeutic outlet in life. Katey loves going to her mat each class reminded to remove negative thoughts and fill up with positive ones, in order to leave the mat ready to impact others with new positive energy. Katey is so excited to take the next step of her yoga journey through sculpting the mind, body, and soul with you!

Lanae Klabunde

Lanae took her first yoga class in 2012, and was immediately hooked. At first, her practice served only as a form of exercise, however it wasn't long before it became of a way of life. She was approached about teacher training in 2014 and completed her 50hr Sculpt certification. Not long after, she completed her 200hr Power Yoga training and completed a teaching internship at the same time. Not only does Lanae have a passion of teaching to adults, but children as well and has recently completed over 30hrs of kids yoga training as well. Teaching yoga came to her at a very important time in Lanae's life, and she will always be extremely grateful for this journey. Her wish is to continue sharing this gift and encourage others to do the same with their own practice.

Michelle Zurlo

Michelle began her yoga journey a few years ago in Northern Virginia when she received a gift certificate to her local studio to help incorporate into marathon training season. Being new to yoga, the first few classes were physically and mentally challenging but they left Michelle feeling intrigued. She used her studio and the amazing community as a mental and physical release towards life’s stressors. The breath/movement connection of the Vinyasa flow quickly became the anchor to living more mindfully. Learning to actually feel the moment, what is has to offer, and to breathe through it, helped Michelle apply on the mat principles into her daily life. Being hungry for more knowledge and more yoga, Michelle decided to go through Teacher Training. Michelle strives to make her students feel challenged yet strong, energized yet calm. She truly believes yoga (and life) is all about the balance between effort and ease. She incorporates the classical 8 limbs of Vinyasa into her classes to help build heat inside and out and mentally keep the class present.
